Cleartrip wallet is a convenient online account to store cancellation refunds and promotional cashbacks that can then be used to make flight, hotel or activity booking on Cleartrip.

How does Wallet work?

Every time you cancel a booking and choose Wallet or apply a coupon code with Wallet cashback offer, the refund or promotional amount gets credited to your Wallet.

What are the benefits of using Wallet?

When you cancel a booking, it may take 5-7 working days before the refund amount is credited to your bank account. In case of immediate rebooking this means money that you cannot use. When refund is computed automatically during cancellation process, wallet refund is available to you immediately and you can make new bookings without any wait. However, if refund amount is shown as unknown during cancellation process, it make take upto 7 days to refund money into your wallet.

How long can I hold funds in my Wallet?

Refunded money never expires. Promotional money expires after a period as specified in the offer.

What happens if I fall short of funds in my Wallet when making a fresh booking?

You will always have the option of combining funds from your Wallet with any other payment instrument (like credit card or net banking) when making a new booking.

Can I transfer funds to or from my Wallet?
