SalamAir Airlines Class of Travel

SalamAir offers two classes of travel on all its flights. The service provided differs as per the class chosen during Salam Air ticket booking. The different travel classes offered are as follows:

Economy Class

This class offers comfortable seats with ample legroom. 

• Passengers can pre-book seats and choose from an aisle seat, window seat, seats with extra legroom or baby bassinet seats.

• Passengers can purchase snacks and meals on board or pre-book meals while booking tickets. Choose from delicious sandwiches and wraps prepared by chefs.

Luban Class

This class offers premium seating and various add-on services.

• Passengers get priority check-in, free access to the lounge (Muscat International Airport), free seat selection and free hot meals.

• Free baggage allowance of up to 14 kg and free check-in baggage allowance of 40 kg.

  

• Free cancellation/modification 24 hours before departure.

SalamAir Airlines Baggage Allowance

The baggage allowance is based on the fare type chosen while doing a SalamAir booking. 

Economy Class

The different fare types for the Economy class are Light, Friendly and Benefit. 

- Light Class.

Passengers with the Light fare type can carry hand baggage of up to 7 kg. 

- Friendly Class.

The Friendly fare type can carry check-in baggage of up to 20 kg and hand baggage of 7 kg.

- Benefit Class.

Benefit fare type can carry check-in baggage of up to 30 kg and hand baggage of up to 7 kg. 

Luban Class

Luban class passengers are allowed check-in baggage of up to 40 kg and hand baggage of up to 14 kg. Passengers can carry 2 pieces of check-in baggage with a weight not exceeding 32 kg for each piece.

SalamAir Airlines Web Check-in and Boarding Pass

Passengers can check in online 24 hours before departure using the web or mobile. To web check-in go to the airline’s website and click the ‘Check-in’ option, type in the required information and click the ‘Continue’ button. Download the boarding pass on the device. 

For mobile check-in access to the airline’s app, go to the ‘Check-in’ option and enter the required details. Either download the boarding pass or save it on the device. 

Passengers can choose to check in through the kiosk machine available at the airport and print the boarding pass or check in at the airport counter and collect the boarding pass.

SalamAir Airlines In-flight Services

The airline offers a variety of beverages, snacks and meals which the passengers can purchase onboard or pre-book. An onboard menu is provided in the seat pocket. The airline offers a wide range of dietary options including vegetarian.

SalamAir Airlines Frequent Flyer Programme: More on Air

The airline offers a Frequent Flyer program called ‘More on Air’. To be eligible for the loyalty program the passengers need to collect and submit 10 boarding passes booked within 12 months. 

The boarding passes are verified by the airlines and an electronic voucher of 10% is issued within 24 hours. The electronic voucher is valid for 12 months. The voucher can be used to redeem a ticket to any of the SalamAir destinations. The passengers can get more benefits and add more convenience while doing Salam Air bookings in the future.

The airline offers assistance to passengers with special needs like expectant mothers and passengers with medical conditions.
